The skin of our body
As we already know, the skin of our body is a very special organ. I can say that it acts like a cover that holds everything together. During the years the-skin of our body goes through many changes. When we were little we could experience the skin’s special properties, such as the self-healing when we cut or scratch our skin. The-skin of our body is precious and we need to take care of it, because even though we have a beautiful young looking skin there is always the possibility that it can be altered any time depending on your lifestyle and the way you treat it.We need to protect our skin against the sun, which is very harmful. Use sunblock when you go outside. When our skin starts to age, it starts to loose moisture, there will be less elasticity, the blood circulation in the epidermis will slow down. The reconstruction of the cells happens every 28 days but due to the aging process this will take more time. The many changes that the-skin of our body goes through cannot be seen by the human eye until we reach the age of 35, when the first signs of wrinkles appear. And there is when our headaches start too. We want to use all the creams and moisturizers all at the same time to minimize those “lines”. When I saw my first wrinkles and my stretch marks I almost fainted. I could not believe it, but I knew it was my fault because I did not take the necessary precautions to care of my skin. At the age of 21 all the cells that die, will no longer be renewed naturally and at the age of 35 we will start experiencing the loss of vitality. There are different situations that can cause the cells deterioration to go even faster and these are: Overweight Tobacco Alcohol Stress Eating too much carbohydrates Environmental contamination Almost all men and women are scared for the aging process which will change their physical appearance dramatically and make them even feel inferior. It's not easy getting out of bed every morning, looking forward to the day, knowing you look old and feeling unattractive. Ever since the lines on your face began to appear you've noticed how people look at you differently. And treat you differently. You want to feel the love and admiration you once felt, not rejection and pity. It's enough to depress anyone. The biggest reason our skin, whether on the face or the rest of the body, develops lines and/or starts to sag, is that the collagen and elastin in our skin begins to break down. Collagen is a protein that is fibrous in nature. What makes collagen different from other kinds of protein is that it possesses great tensile strength, which means, among other things, it provides firmness to the skin.I can say that collagen is what keeps all the cells together. Elastin, too, is a protein that helps skin stay "flexible" and firm. If your skin is stretched, elastin is the protein that helps it return to its original position. The hectic lifestyle nowadays, the environmental contamination, sun exposure, the cold and the air, all of this contributes to the faster aging of the skin and the loss of capacity to maintain its moisture in such a way that it causes the loss of tissue and appearance of wrinkles.
